Empowering Women, Transforming Generations

Kijiji Cha Upendo—Swahili for "Village of Love"—is a powerful initiative focused on breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping women to build brighter futures through entrepreneurship. Women are welcomed into a registered organization where they receive micro-loans and hands-on training in small business management, giving them the tools and confidence to launch and grow their own businesses.

Support systems are built in—from monitored childcare and school fee supplements for their children, to psychosocial counseling and health referrals for both women and kids. This holistic approach not only empowers women economically but also ensures their children, both biological and orphaned, grow up in a stable, inclusive environment free from stigma. By investing in these women, we’re helping entire families thrive and creating lasting, generational change.
